Indonesian Ornamental Plant Expansion
The improving economy after the COVID-19 pandemic has made Minaqu Indonesia optimistic about improving its business performance. Next year, Minaqu Indonesia plans to expand to increase the export capability of ornamental plants.
According to the CEO of Minaqu Indonesia, Ade Wardhana Adinata, Minaqu Indonesia did this because the demand from domestic and foreign countries was increasing rapidly.
Minaqu Indonesia is a company that was founded in 2019 and is engaged in wholesale ornamental plants. Although it has not been existing for a long time, the presence of Minaqu Indonesia can provide benefits for ornamental plant farmers in Indonesia by making native Indonesian ornamental plants more wellknown and have a high selling value.
Until now, Minaqu Indonesia has exported ornamental plants to various continents, including Europe, America, and Asia. Minaqu Indonesia is even increasing its penetration into the Middle East. To meet the high demand, Minaqu Indonesia also cooperates with 1,100 farmer partners and farmer groups.
At the beginning of his business journey, Minaqu Indonesia used social media and e-commerce with a direct marketing system to consumers. Over time, Minaqu Indonesia began to have distributors. Currently, there are seven Minaqu Indonesia distributors in six countries, which are the United States, Canada, Germany, Holland, South Korea, and Cyprus, with a 2-year contract for 15 million ornamental plants.
Minaqu Indonesia’s efforts to continue to improvise to penetrate the global market through a sharpened digitalization system and expanded international cooperation are what attracted BNI to award them with BNI MSME Entrepreneur Heroes in the Digital Savy Entrepreneur Hero category.
